FFIV Figures

Umg as mentioned in the last entry, I bought the FFIV DS trading figures, they are so cute !!! From the six I absolutely wanted to have Cecil and Rosa !!! And I was lucky I just bought 3 and got *Cecil*, Rydia and then Rosa. ^ ^ I saw the Kain too, he was already unpacked, I am going to get hiim someday !! Just you wait poor boy ! >_<

FF12 OST Limited Edition

OMGGG!!!! I still can't believe what I just received!!! ... My Final Fantasy XII Soundtrack Limited Edition just arrived at my mailbox!
Aaah I always wanted to own this, the main work of Hitoshi Sakimoto, my favourite composer. He's so gorgeous, I'm totally in love with him!! (´___`)!!



The box is just sooo awesome!! O___O And it's so big and quite heavy I was so stunned!! (slipcase)

You can't imagine how long I've been waiting for the right chance to buy this soundtrack, my first choice had been playasia but that would have been quite expensive, so I scoured ebay for this, but couldn't find a reliable seller.
Finally found one last week on ebay auction which I was quite sure of that this was genuine. Actually I'm quite broke at the moment but I couldn't resist and was really lucky to get it for *JUST* 20€ !!!

At first I was quite unsure if I made the right decision to pay such a sum on ebay, although I was quite sure it would be the real thing I was unsure about its condition, or if 20 was really worth it. Now I can really say that I am lucky, it's completely new!

Now the core: four disks in total. It's funny they chose to take two moogles for the fourth disk, I think the Larsa and Vayne artwork would have better fit for that. In the background the Arcadia artwork.

First page with the main character Vaan's artwork. The booklet totally reminds me of the FF Tactics booklet, it's made of the same paper, and the same black page + inscription and font haha.

Okay I'm totally excited, and thankful to this person who sold this soundtrack to me in such superb condition and at this low price. Wow!
I think I'm the most excited person in town at the moment haha!! XDD

FF Tactics figures

I bought the FF Tactics - Lion War figures quite a while ago (mid 2008) and made many photos but haven't put them on yet. Originally I wanted to buy them on ebay but they were really expensive there. Then at a convention I saw them for 30€, that was still very much. After much bargaining I finally got it for 26€ haha. XD



In there are Ramza, Delita, Lady Agrias and Princess Ovelia. If you buy the figures seperately you can get the secret figure Balthier. It's really pity I don't have him! : (
Ramza is my favourite. My Delita's legs are strange... Ovelia is the most beautiful because of her clothing, but I don't like the bottom of the figure.

Agrias Oaks. This figure is very well made.

I didn't make photos of the other two. Maybe sometime I'll make up for it.

OMG and today I bought something really great (and quite expensive) at ebay... I really hope it will be in good condition...

Sleeping Beauty

Something hit me in recent days. I've become a HUGE Disney fan again!

It's all thanks to my little sister. She is about 5 years old and in the perfect Barbie and Disney + princess age.
It was some time ago when we bought her the Bambi DVD which used to be my favourite movie when I was little.
After watching I just felt like crying, because of its profoundness.
I realized that people at that time were just so much different than people today. It was a time of war or right after war, hence the movies were earnest, profound and were still done with so much love.
Every scene was so thoroughly thought out. Everything had a sense and contained a message. Not just what the producers wanted to convey, no, it was the view of people at that time.

After this 'renaissance' I immediatly got Cinderella and Snow White (which is unavailable on DVD in this country and which I bought in China therefore) and I could immerse myself into that time.

Finally Disney released the 50th anniversary edition of Sleeping Beauty for which I waited so long.
I instantly bought it and it exceeded all my expectations.
When I was little Sleeping Beauty had never been my favourite Disney movie; I liked Bambi, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast much more.
Now I understand why I had always missed this one, because Sleeping Beauty is not a cute little story. Neither its art nor its plot.
Bambi has a serious story too, but animals are cute, children like them even without understanding much.
With Sleeping Beauty Disney went a completely new way, no longer did they draw cute supporting characters to extend movie length (like the mice in Cinderella), but concentrated on the main plot. That is why this movie is so serious and not 'fun' to watch.
And the most crucial yet groundbraking reason for Sleeping Beuaty's uniqueness is that it is like a moving illustration.
All backgrounds and animations are done in such a perfect way, every scene could be just out of a medieval painting. No longer do I have the feeling that this is an animated movie, but it is a medieval masterpiece that has come to life.

I will never get enough of this movie, it's a masterpiece, and unfortunately there will never be an animated movie on that level anymore in future; neither in artistic nor in storied aspects.

(but I don't have a ds so I've never really played the ds games for a long time)



Pokemon Guide!

The FuturePress Strategy Guides have many artworks and screenshots. I really like them!
Actually I prefer them more than Piggyback's guides.
Piggyback is much more professional and gives FAR more information and makes less mistakes.
But there are never soo many artworks.

FFT Original Soundtrack

OMG you can't imagine what REAL treasure I got !!
Today my second delivery arrived!

I was waiting for quite a long time, and almost wanted to complain on ebay.
But today I got this thick little package and it's the original FINAL FANTASY TACTICS Soundtrack !!!



Just openend it. Sooooo beautiful !! `( ; D ; )´

The actual CD box is in a slipcase and everything is printed on cardboard paper. That gives it a very special look. (*v*)

And OMG I am REALLY lucky!!
Because it's not some fake, but the actual original OST!! ( ; __ ; ) ! ! !
You know it's very risky to order something through ebay, because most of their imported CDs are fakes.
(but it was so cheap and I thought even if it's a fake I would be happy LOL 8D)

(especially normal battle music, I'm hearing it all the time while playing 8D)

Vagrant Story LB

Hurray, it arrived!!

Today I looked into my mailbox and saw this big envelope!
It's the Vagrant Story official strategy guide that I ordered through ebay!

And I am really lucky, because it's totally NEW! (it was still in the plastic foil!)
Although the game was published about 10 years ago and the books sold out of course.
