Alle Jahre wieder

So wie jedes Jahr verbringe ich Silvester wieder in Düsseldorf. Und hier ist wie immer nicht viel los.

Sosehr Düsseldorf auch als Modestadt bekannt ist, ich hatte nie den Eindruck, dass man hier besser einkaufen kann als woanders. Vor wenigen Tagen wurde mein Eindruck wieder einmal bestätigt, denn außer der Königsallee, der Schadowstraße und der Altstadt hat Düsseldorf eher wenig zu bieten.

Jetzt suche ich nach einer neuen Beschäftigung, ich würde gerne reisen in andere deutsche Städte, das würde natürlich ins Geld gehen. Nach einem Partner suche ich auch, alleine reisen ist nicht so das Wahre.

Mal sehen wo es mich in diesen Tagen noch hinführt.

Kurze Bemerkung über den noch bis vor kurzem überaus präsenten RO Wahnsinn: Das Teil wird deinstalliert!

HIM at Donauinselfest

I can't believe this, I got to see HIM live!!!! They sang at the Donauinselfest, which is a big open air festival, and there were so many people I couldn't even breathe, but it was totally worth it!!!

I never visited a rock concert before, and always wanted to see HIM live, because I love Ville Valo. But they almost never come to Vienna, I would have paid much to visit a rock concert, but now at the Donauinselfest everything was free of course and there were sooo many people umg.

But I was at the stage half an hour before and fought through the crowd until I was near him, then I had to stand on my toes for 2 hours, but it was so worth omg. He is sooo handsome and I was filming and taking photos all the time LOL.

I have loved Join me the first time I heard it, it's so romantic, sad, kind of goth, bit of metal, so beautiful (the keyboard sound ´_`) and Ville's voice is sexier than everrrr.

And it was so cool, he sang so many songs, and his old songs like Join me and Funeral of Hearts and many other as well, wow this must be really rare!!!

And I am sooo lucky, thank you HIM for this wonderful evening, I love you!

Der Exotische Baum 1

In unserem schönen Campus gibt es auf der großen Wiese im Hof 2 einen wunderschönen riesigen Baum. Ich habe ihn außer seiner Größe und seiner zentralen Stelle wegen eigentlich nie besonders beachtet. Eines Frühlingstages im Jahre 2009 aber zog er mit einem Schlag meine gesamte Aufmerksamkeit auf sich, als ich unwissend über die Ecke bog und er mich mit seiner vollen violettrosafarbenen Blütenpracht überraschte. Von da an wusste ich, dass er kein normaler einheimischer Baum war wie so viele seiner Kollegen hier, sondern es sich hier um ein exotisches besonders schönes Unikat handelt.

Da der Exotische Baum am Campus nun einen ganz besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen eingenommen hat, habe ich beschlossen, zu jeder Jahreszeit, also sobald die Spuren der Zeit sich an ihm bemerkbar machen, ein Foto von ihm zu seinen Ehren zu machen.

Das erste Foto ist von April 2009 als er blüteträchtig war. Dieses habe ich im Juni gemacht, im gelblichen Sommergrün.

Heißer Sommertag

Heute ist ein schön heißer Tag. Man sieht den Leuten an, dass sie darunter leiden. Normalerweise mag ich es auch nicht so viel zu schwitzen doch dieses Jahr finde ich es seltsam angenehm. Ich sitze im Campus, einem wunderschönen grünen Fleck umringt von Häusern aus dem 19.Jhdt, welche in Wien stark vertreten sind. Der Campus ist die Lehrstelle der Philologie, und wahrscheinlich mein liebster Ort in dieser Stadt.
Gegenüber sieht man übrigens einen "japanischen Garten". Tatsächlich sind es aber nur paar exotische Bäume mit streng zenkonform angelegten Steinen. Ach ja "jegliche Veränderung des Gartens wird streng bestraft". Immerhin, als der japanische Prinz Wien einen Besuch abstattete kam er zum besagten Garten und verbeugte sich.

Personal blog

I think my blog will turn more personal again. Originally, this blog was intended to be a sketchblog whereas my livejournal should be my personal blog. But since updating is much simpler on blogger, I guess it's better to write things here. Of course I will still upload pictures in case I draw something.

For that I also removed my blog from google again haha. x)

By the way, this is a nice picture of Emma Watson that I've already seen on hpexperts.com, happen to see it in real while shopping lol.

Flowers and Patterns

Some clothes that I bought today. Most of the time, I am unable to find anything here in Austria that I like, because of the size (but also the price....come on 70€ for a pair of better looking summer shoes?)

But today I felt like spending money, and I am lucky that Zara brought their new collection out. 

I totally love the 80s style, with all the flowers and patterns. *_*

 Speaking of flowers, I was in need of finally buying Atonement. Although I don't like Keira Knightley that much, this movie is so beautiful from the trailers I've seen. Oh and I am totally in love with James McAvoy, he looks so special!! (I like men who look special you know, they don't need to be handsome, but in this case he's handsome too 8D)
